About Gravel Shed
At Gravel Shed you’ll find a wide range of quality products to help transform your garden. Our decorative hard landscaping products are available in many different colours, sizes and rock types. You can choose from a wide variety of decorative aggregates, pebbles, slate chippings, cobbles and rockery stones. The geologic materials that make up these rock products include granite, basalt (volcanic rock), marble, slate, limestone, quartz, sandstone and flint. Our products look great when used for paths, driveways and borders, or in rockeries, water features and ponds. You are limited only by your imagination.
By offering many types of aggregates it means we can provide you with an environmentally friendly option to surface your garden or driveway compared to using tarmac or concrete. It’s SUDS compliant (Sustainable urban drainage system), which means gravelled areas are a surface that will allow water to drain through to natural ground. This is especially helpful if you live in an area susceptible to flooding.
We are totally transparent with our delivery charges. There is no such thing as FREE delivery. We show the cost of the product including VAT and then calculate the delivery charges for a variety of delivery options that you can choose from on the basket page. This allows you to pick a mixture of products and volumes and then we will present you with the cheapest way of getting them to you. We provide options including selecting the delivery day and even a.m., p.m. or evening time slots.
With our detailed product descriptions and photographs we try to give you as much information as possible so you can make an informed buying decision. Some products have uses suited to any type of project whereas some products may not, but we attempt to mention suitability on each page in the description. Products are photographed wet and dry because in certain cases there is a vast difference between the two states while in others, very little. We always indicate whether our products are fish friendly (or not) so you will know exactly what types of stone products are safe to be used in or near ponds that contain fish.
As decorative stone is natural product there can be no guarantees that you will be able to match a product with a previous purchase. We do offer samples on many product pages to help limit this potential risk with decorative aggregates and slate chippings. We would always recommend raking a new gravel evenly over the old surface if adding to an older purchase in case there are slight colour variations.

We don’t deal with orders or enquiries over the phone because we can be more productive answering any questions you may have using our Live Chat service or by email.
