This is the larger size of Green Slate Chippings. An eco-friendly aggregate that is created by using recycled material from the Welsh roofing slate industry. There are a wide variety of green shades from light to dark that are really accentuated when wet, making green slate a very eye catching product. As with all slate products it's possible there may be the odd blue or plum coloured pieces mixed in with the green due to changes in the quarry face. Most of the slate is flat but there can be some pieces that are chunkier than the other colours of slate. The thicker pieces of slate make this size too big for paths and drives as it would be more difficult to walk on. This size is more suitable for general landscaping, screescapes, rockeries, borders, mulches, ponds and water features.The approximate length of the chippings ranges between 30-50mm.
