The larger size of the Cumbrian Green Slate. Quarried in Cumbria it generally has a smoothish texture and is a greyish green colour but the pieces can have lighter streaks and some reddish brown patches in them. The 40mm is more chunky than the smaller size making it more uneven under foot so it's better used in planting areas, rockeries, water features and ponds. The sizes range from 30-50mm.
