Red sandstone rockery is a warm looking reddish brown gritstone. Its more pink when dry but goes a deeper red when wet. When the sunlight catches the rock, little flecks in the sandstone give a nice sparkling effect. The rockery is quite flat in colour so can be used to great effect with more contrasting coloured aggregates and stone. Its angular in shape and is great for building rockeries or for using as feature stones in borders. The size range tends to be between 20-30cm.
